Kavaklidere 1929 (2013)

A complex and structured top of the range Cabernet Franc, deep red violet in the glass, aromas of blackberry, liquorice and lavender. The tannins still come in strong but recede within moments, revealing flavours of dark plum, blackberry, baking spices and chocolate. A note of bright cranberry near the finish is followed by mouth-drying tannins that linger with a touch of spice. The tertiary aromas as leather and forest floor are present yet not dominating. A fine wine which ages very well and continues its exciting journey through the years.
