Ancyra Öküzgözü

A delicious, juicy red wine with an attractive bright purple color. Mellow flavors of blackberry, plum and various red fruits with a good overall balance, nice acidity and soft, pleasing tannins. You may well code it as the Turkish Merlot. One of the classic red indigenous Anatolian varieties that become a Turkish blend standard together with the more muscular and structured Boğazkere. A grape with huge potential not fully realized yet, this wine is a good starting point.
