Sui Generis Nevi Şahsına Münhasır 2018 £ 34.00 ~~£ 34.00~~ 34.0 GBP Bold yet not intrusive, chocolaty but not sweet, intense yet not overwhelming. They say the balance is the key to a good wine and that one proves it. Milk chocolate, red fruits, dark berries, mint, violate and some gentle spiciness all orchestrated by the fine tannins and excellent acidity. The label itself is also a piece of art, its story to be told on the producers page. The Thracian terroir is really unique, it was one of the Romans favourites and Spartacus was born there. Artı Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot 2018 £ 18.00 ~~£ 18.00~~ 18.0 GBP Deep ruby colour, aromas of dark fruits and green pepper on the nose evolving to a round and velvety palate full of plum, tobacco and dark chocolate notes. A wine of outstanding value and finesse.	Kavaklidere 1929 (2013) £ 25.00 ~~£ 25.00~~ 25.0 GBP A complex and structured top of the range Cabernet Franc, deep red violet in the glass, aromas of blackberry, liquorice and lavender. The tannins still come in strong but recede within moments, revealing flavours of dark plum, blackberry, baking spices and chocolate. A note of bright cranberry near the finish is followed by mouth-drying tannins that linger with a touch of spice. The tertiary aromas as leather and forest floor are present yet not dominating. A fine wine which ages very well and continues its exciting journey through the years.

Mellow flavors of blackberry, plum and various red fruits with a good overall balance, nice acidity and soft, pleasing tannins. You may well code it as the Turkish Merlot. One of the classic red indigenous Anatolian varieties that become a Turkish blend standard together with the more muscular and structured Boğazkere. A grape with huge potential not fully realized yet, this wine is a good starting point.
